Support with practical value

Community support should be clear, useful and genuine.

Painting is a meaningful household investment. We have created four practical ways to make the process easier to understand, easier to budget for and more responsible from start to finish.

Cost support

10% Community Discount

A genuine discount for seniors, current Australian concession card holders and single-parent households.

Applied to an eligible new residential painting quotation and shown as a separate line. Your preliminary estimate remains unchanged.

Colour confidence

Professional Colour Consultation

For eligible larger residential projects, Colourway can arrange and pay for an independent professional colour consultation.

Availability is confirmed in your final quotation, so you know exactly what is included before proceeding.

Clear decisions

Free Quote Analysis & Comparison

Compare painting quotations for scope, preparation, coating systems, exclusions and price—without sales pressure.

Free for every homeowner, whether or not you choose Colourway.

Responsible practice

Paint & Waste Disposal

Suitable labelled paint is retained for your future touch-ups. Eligible unwanted architectural paint and original paint packaging are taken to an approved Paintback collection point.

Other accepted painting and project waste is sorted and delivered to FRRRC or another appropriate waste facility.

A considered extra for larger projects

Choose colours with confidence.

For eligible larger residential projects, we can include an independent professional colour consultation arranged and paid for by Colourway. It helps connect your home, light and finishes before work begins.

  • Independent professional guidance
  • Confirmed clearly in your final quotation
  • No separate appointment fee when included
Eligibility depends on the final scope and project budget. We will never imply it is included unless it appears in your final quotation.

Clear answers before you begin.

Every inclusion is confirmed in writing on the final quotation.

Read our community support announcement
Who can claim the 10% Community Discount?

Seniors, current Australian concession card holders and single-parent households may be eligible. Tell us when confirming your scope and we will show the discount clearly on your eligible final residential quotation.

Does my online estimate already include the discount?

No. The online estimate gives you an initial project range. Any eligible Community Discount is applied to the final quotation after the scope has been confirmed.

Is a colour consultation included with every project?

It is available on eligible larger residential projects where the project budget allows. If included, Colourway arranges and pays for the independent consultant and lists the benefit in your final quotation.

Can I use Quote Compare if I do not choose Colourway?

Yes. It is a free decision-support tool designed to help Melbourne homeowners understand what is and is not included in painting quotations.

What happens to leftover paint and project waste?

We keep suitable labelled paint for your touch-ups. Eligible unwanted architectural paint and original paint packaging go to Paintback, while other accepted project waste is sorted and taken to FRRRC or another appropriate waste facility.
